The Globe was built in the 1980's. All major events take place there, rockconcerts, hockeygames, European horseshows, MTV awards when they had it there. It's much bigger in real life than it appears in the picture. There are many offices and restaraunts in it, and has a mall built around it. It's the biggest "round" building in all of Europe.

The Wasa, King Gustav Wasa's new warship, sank in the Riddarfjrden close to 500 years ago. It may be the oldest restored vessel; it was so sensitive that they had to build a 'house' around it and have water on it for many years while they treated it before they could even start to repair it. As you can see, now it looks much like it did before it sank...
